Ron Moore, Executive Producer of Battlestar Galactica, talking about podcasting and its effect on sci-fi fans and himself, plus a sneak look into the 3rd season of Battlestar Galactica Season Premiere on October 6th on the Sci-Fi Channel.
Moore talks briefly to Jason about some criticisms he’s received for his podcast in terms of its production. He also drops a hint or two about the new season of Battlestar Galactica as he alludes to the potential (imminent?) demise of some of the mainstay characters.

This series rocks, loved the first and love this one.
Many thanks Jason ;-)!
Only one thing I would change to the Battle Star Series. Get rid of the word “Fracken and Fracking. It sounds corney and stupid and brings the show down a few thousands levels when they say it and hurts the integrity of the moment in the show.
Hi, Pat. Video is a lot more expensive than audio, as you might imagine.
Some might suggest to begin with the podcast (or netcast, or whatever they’re going to change it to in the wake of Apple’s threats)
Here’s a couple of articles that have equipment recommendations. Where video costs thousands, you can get a podcast started for hundreds.
