Rocketboom’s Andrew Baron talks about the roots of Rocketboom, its political beginnings, and how it developed into the hit that it is today.
Baron generated some buzz around the idea that content creators should focus on smaller, more involved audiences, a concept that he is embracing with Rocketboom. He said that though he closed a deal with an advertiser for $80,000 for 5 days’ worth of commercials, he’d give discounts to commercials he liked and that fit his article.
An interview with Rocketboom host Joanne Colan is also on the horizon, so stay tuned for that.

I identify myself with what he has created but in my case my site has not yet taken off. Only 4k have entered. I’ve been online only three years but no sponsers and no money to invest in program applications or better programs or computers that run faster and have better graphics. I’m 51 years old and learned html on a book I found in Borders. So please enter my site and give me good advise and tell me more things that makes a site launch like yours did. And try to tell me how to make some money too.

Andrew needs to get down on his hands and knees and beg forgiveness of Amanda and hope she is willing to return to Rocketboom.
