Self described as “the first naked podcaster” Soccergirl attracts a crowd of around 50,000 listeners to her program, which is a part of Adam Curry’s Podshow network. In addition to the typical difficulties in establishing an online business, Soccergirl overcame other adversities like controversy over her signature breast flashing.

Not heard her program, probably won’t. 60 yr old granddad. Wasn’t expecting a striptease, just wanted to see what people are doing. If you’re not out of the box of corporate America then you are really boxed in w/o promise of anything. If you follow your dreams, you may discover something you can share. I think it’s hot. Anyone who’s getting off on her blog is already corrupted, dear. She’s a sexually open woman. That disturbs a lot of people, even those who in the privacy of their homes probably enjoy it.

It is called entertainment. It may not be entertaining to you but it is to her 50,000 viewers.
You use the words, “corrupt people”. Are you serious? What she does barely rises to the level of an R rated movie.
Why can’t Americans speak coherently, without using “like” all the time? All would have been forgiven if she would only display her, like, nipples! What a waste of time, like, this Webpronews.
Kimberly, I think the point is that what she’s doing is becoming a “real” career. The investment of time and money required to get into the money-making area of pod/videocasting is not insignificant. The point of Podshow is to help people quit their day job to do something they enjoy – and be paid for it. I find her entertaining, and think she should be compensated. She’s certainly the most intriguing librarian I’ve ever listened to.
I think her story is great and I wish her much success.The days of inside the box careers are over at least in this country so if it upsets you just get over it dont pay any mind to it.Because there are plenty of others that like it.50,000 or so anyway so rock on soccergirl.
Do we really need more crap like this – why do you encourage her – she needs to get a real career and not corrupt people
