Shane McAllister, Business Development Manager for MagneticTime, talks about his company’s services at the Podcast and Portable Media Expo. MagneticTime has a pretty unique service that allows people to upload text documents from Word or email, and have them transferred to mp3 files.

The idea behind this is that people are increasingly overwhelmed by information and don’t have time to read. MagneticTime, by creating a file that can be listened to instead of read, allows people to do other things while catching upon the information necessary to them.
