I’m a professional photographer that started blogging recently to to direct more traffic into my web site. It does seem to be working to some degree. I photograph a variety of things. I’ve tried to target my main interest areas. 2 of the subjects on my web site are Motorcycle Shows and Car Shows. I searched for web sites in those interest areas to post images and direct people back to my site. I also have Spot news on AOL citizens news with photos,Rock bands and Fireworks photos on AOL photo journals. I would say blogging is an effective way to direct traffic to a site. I’m certain I’ll be doing a lot more of this in the future and am actively looking for new ways to reach specific targeted markets. http://www.RobValineimages.com

  5. I listened with interest, would have liked to maybe recieved a few tips for blogging. I have 3 blogs I write to, and often have trouble putting together content. Does all my content have to be similiar or on the same lines? How does one get page ranking? are all these things the same as for a website or is there an easier way? where does one get their readers?
