Here in the WebProNews video blog, we have offered our faithful viewers a cornucopia (please excuse the Thanksgiving pun) of interviews with PubCon presenters over the last two weeks. As we head into the holiday weekend, we thought it would be helpful to offer a perspective from the other side of the PubCon spectrum, as our own Mike McDonald sits down with PubCon attendee Karen Sams as she gives her impression of the conference.
Karen, like most everyone else at this year’s PubCon, recognizes the growing influence of social media in the search engine marketing landscape. With the vast amount of attendees that a national conference of this size draws, the networking potential is almost incalculable when it comes to making those social contacts when trying to market a brand across a wide demographical spectrum, ultimately in an effort to generate the maximum amount of traffic to a site as possible.
