Web 2.0 Expo: Live Interview with Google CEO Eric Schmidt

At the Web 2.0 Expo today, Google CEO Eric Schmidt spoke with John Battelle, Founder and Chairman of Federated Media Publishing, about many issues. First on the list of items to discuss, was the announcement of the presentation application as part of the Google Docs and Spreadsheets. The presentations portion completes Google’s basic Office suite that is scheduled to be out within the next few months. Schmidt talks about the DoubleClick situation and how they make a good team. Google is very confident in their decision. All the controversial issues are the highlights of the discussion including the Viacom situation. The interview concludes with the topic of the future of the Internet and Google and all the growth potential with both.
