In my opinion, unfortunatly traditional media is pretty much dead. Lets face it. google and yahoo is offering relief for local newspaper ads. If this isnt a dead give away, no pun intended, TV and radio are still useful if you can afford it but even these media resourced are dwindling. Try advertising in a magazine and see what the results are.definately no where near what it was even 7 years ago. As for SES and the rock’em sock’em search battle.
Obviously google and yahoo are the leaders. I not trying to favor one over the other but when there is a valuable resource like Nitpickit.com missing from msn live you start to wonder. I tried contacting MSN more than twice to get the website added, but it seems like they dont think it is worth their time or are they afraid of some potential competition?
What do you think of nitpickit.com ? ~ NPI Guy =)

This is a big one for new online entrepreneurs and small business owners that are planning to bring their business online using search engine as their number one Internet marketing channel. And most people recommend this beginners to hire a SEO consultant for top dollars because is the only way they will ever gain top search engine ranking…

Personally I recommend new online marketers to learn the basics of search engine optimization before thinking on hiring a consultant, this way they can review the process and track the results. Now, is always good to check with their previous clients to see if they are or were happy with the results.

Doing SEO takes time and take a lot of reading and some investment on research, testing, tracking, analytics tools. So, for many marketers hiring a consultant is the best way to go. Just make sure you ask what other clients on your niche are they working with, and if they guarantee your search position and for how long, or if extra fees are needed to keep them working to help you maintain your ranking.

Yours truly,
