The next generation of browser based video conferencing.
The man that many consider to be the Sultan of Search, Danny Sullivan, knows a thing or two about running a conference series. Danny has been at the helm of Search Engine Strategies since it began nearly eight years ago. The world of search has evolved greatly over that time period, and Sullivan has made it his business to stay on top of all the new technology and trends in order to present industry professionals with top-notch insight and analysis.
Over the past several years, search and the SEO industry have undergone some pretty significant changes. Gaming the system is more difficult, Google bombing is all but dead, and social media has stormed onto the scene as arguably the next big platform in the evolutionary chain of search marketing.
Still, there is so much information floating around the Internet concerning search optimization and marketing that it can be difficult to make sense between the useful tips and the junk. It’s in providing detailed and valuable insight into the industry that Danny Sullivan seems to excel the best, and anyone looking to broaden their knowledge of search should look no further than his expertise.
Sullivan doesn’t really need anyone to promote his work, though. As you’ll see in our video interview, Danny does a great job of self-promotion all on his own, with just a little prodding from our own Mike McDonald.
It’s okay though Danny, we’re big fans of Search Engine Land here at WebProNews.
On a more somber note, this is the last SES conference that Sullivan will serve as chair. After leaving Search Engine Watch and launching his own site, Danny has been working on developing his own conference series that will debut this summer: Search Marketing Expo. This first show will take place June 4th and 5th in Seattle, and will feature an agenda laden with advanced search topics.
HearMe is the next generation of browser based video conferencing. Focused on
small and mid-sized businesses looking to reduce costs and utilize a quality solution.

Great interview with Danny! I had a great time at SES NY and I learned a lot.
Its interesting to see the alchemy of search between new and old school and how we are doing a full circle. This is especially true with mobile search and it takes me back when I first started with search.
You mentioned yahoo submit and I am wondering how yahoo! can justify a paid submission when Google is now asking people to report paid links.

Webpronews should think about having Mike do some more training. He doesn’t seem ready at all for these interviews.
