Google Takes Action to Open Public Records

Google is teaming up with state governments to make public records accessible for Internet users by offering free consulting and software. These records include information concerning education, real estate, health care, and the environment. National security has tightened the reigns of data on the Web since the September 11th terrorist’s attacks.
