I personally find links to be disturbing. if I look over the “no follow” rule and fear that it creates – i think it’s playing havoc on my link building.
Acording to my records my links change almost monthly – I had 865 links directed to one page then another month it drops to 245 and then it changes to 465 [ all on one page ????]
The problem is
[linking ]how do you get other site to link to your site when most of them what to link to higher not lower ranking sites.
[ digg / myspace ] Hard to build traffic becuase as per what she said there are niches and demographics to consider. But also – the net has become so “blah”, people are more interested in taking a 10 sec. look or laugh than actually getting to know a site.
Links still remain the biggest challenge for small business operators to get their site noticed..
