As webmasters we should focus on providing quality content to our visitors, regardless of whether or not it is duplicate. We should let the search engines dictate how we run our sites.
Yes, we have to provide unique contents to our users. Duplicate content isn’t a good long term strategy
As webmasters we should focus more on providing valuable content to the visitor, rather than worrying about duplicate content. I would not hesitate to publish duplicate materials on my sites if I feel that they’d be helpful to my visitors.
