The Electronic Frontier Foundation has asked a federal appeals court to reconsider a ruling the foundation says could threaten popular websites. The ruling came against Roommates.com after a three-judge panel decided to hold the website liable for the actions of its users because it sorted and categorized content which could have violated the fair housing law.
