The Bancroft family is supposed to have their decision of whether they will sell Dow Jones and Company to Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation by 5 PM today. As a result of the continuing chaos, boards of both companies are not convinced they will have an answer by the deadline. Many family members, as well as Wall Street Journal employees, oppose the estimated $5 billion bid in fear that Murdoch’s brand of journalism might interfere in the news coverage of the Journal.
