Disney and Company has acquired the children’s web site Club Penguin for $350 million. The site allows children to create their own virtual penguin, chat with their friends, and play games with the other penguins. Maybe Disney is into too much. Personally WebSpeak Ezine would like to see more independent sites for children. They could get a seal of approval from a third party that has no franchise or interest in supporting a special interest group.
