After experiencing an outage last week, Skype reps finally released information on the cause for the black out. According to the Heartbeat Blog, Skype crashed due to an overload of reboots after a Windows Update. It just happened that too many computers were trying to log on at one time, causing the network to crash. WebProNews talked to Phil Wolff, managing editor of Skype Journal and Rob Malda from Slashdot.org about the situation.
