A good video. Helpful information and confirms what many webmasters and business owners already know or have a sense about through learning by trial and fire. Worth a listen.
That’s all good, but the toughest part IS getting the links. If you have a brand new website which has little or no traffic, no one will one to trade links with you, which means no traffic, so it’s a catch22 situation. The only option left is PPC ads and my experience is that they are not too effective in increasing your page rank.

I am eager to learn about link building
Great advice from Eric and Brandon…
We have so much to learn from these guys..
We certainly do agree with you,its worth the while although great effort is indeed required to achieve.
Good video and good use of screen captures. One question: did you have to get permission to use each screen capture? Or is screen capture fair use?

Advice about using text-link-ads.com etc is NOT WORTH IT. Google has just undergone a major page rank update which affects these link building companies. People who purchase the links, and don’t use the “no follow” tag are just asking for trouble.
Great video. It did contain some things that I could use. I posted the video on my blog as well. Thanks.

Have to wholeheartedly agree. We sold just 3 very relevant links to similar comapnies in different locations on out site. WE have gone to pr0 from pr5! our rankings are fine etc but obviously it is disconcerting to see the green bit vanish.
2-4 years to rank an average competition website? You’ve got to be kidding me. If you know what your doing you can rank a site in a semi-competitive niche in 1 year or less.
focus about content => the best way, I think.

Matt Cutts said that link building is more important than content.
I think that ultimately it’s about traffic. I do work for a link building service and obviously we do focus on link building, but all that is just for the purpose of traffic.
