For some, blogging is not as easy as it may sound. Whenever you break it down to issues such as how to get readers to your blog, how to get them to comment, and then what to do with the negative comments, it can be quite a challenge. WebProNews Reporter Abby Prince spoke with Leo Laporte, host of TWiT.tv and blogger of Leoville.com, as well as Matt Mullenweg, Founding Developer of WordPress and blogger of photomatt.net about these very issues. Catch their experiences and advice, only on WebProNews.

Hello!
I think this try.
feedback - I’ve had lots of traffic to my blog but responses…. don’t get any at all.
I’m also relatively new to blogging and I’m about as disciplined in maintaining mine as I was with all other such journals and diaries before the arrival of the internet, but articles like this (especially in this format) are a great encouragement. Thanks
Regards,
Ben

I am new to blogging and getting people to read my blog is , to say the least, challenging. Your suggestions are well taken and I am sure to implement them as soon as possible.
I think comments add a real sense of community and good feeling to a blog (even if they are negative- hell everyone’s different!)
Unfortunately, I think my subscribers are too busy doing something else to comment…

Thank you so much for this, even though we have told our readers many times about the same things its much better for them to hear it from a more “official” source like Matt Mullenweg
Excelent article. I am now in the process of using it on my lenses
I have a wordpress site with squidoo lenses. A bit silly, But fun all the same
