I love that he said that it doesn’t matter which analytics software you use, it’s all about the person interpreting the data! We’ve been going back and forth here with which software to use over and over again and I’m fine using anything. Even the free Google Analytics does everything I need it to when you use funnels and URL tagging properly (although a nicer/easier system for funnels would be better)
Kudos to WPN and Matt Bailey for some great information on how to use Analytics information to segment site usage statistics.
Matt hit it right on the head, Analytics is all about evaluating user-centric data, not just page views, visits and clicks.
I’d love to see a definitive guide to improving user experience and the funnel process. How about it Matt?
