In this interview with Mike McDonald at the 25th Annual ACCM, Larry Becker of the Rimm-Kaufman Group defines website effectiveness as a website meeting its business goals as well as its user goals. If these goals are met, your site will get more sales. Larry mentions setting yourself apart by your selling proposition and not in the way the site operates. Larry is spot on. You really need to target your audience to increase conversions. Another good point is to make sure your landing page is up to scratch.

I’m still fairly new to internet markting Yet my site or
niche market is one of the most competive. What can I do
to stand out and show the benfits of shopping at my store?

I have noticed other sites shopping carts are harder to use
than mine but how can I convey this to the customer? I know
I can save them time and headaches. but how can I advertise this?

I believe I just wasted my time hearing the obvious. I believe that when one of the web gurus speak and you play it up it should be useful.

    1. Tips on why you should buy from me would be helpful.
    2. Tips on how to adapt from the big guys would be helpful.
    3. Make sure my mechanics follow a standard not very helpful its a duh.

I am disappointed in you for this lame interview and wasting my time.
In a fast moving environment decisions have to be made as to how to spend time.
Time wasters are not re visited. You are blocked Good Bye
