Just in case you are not aware, a landing page is the page that you go to after you click on a banner, search result, or email promotion. In an interview with Mike McDonald at the 25th Annual ACCM Conference, Karen Crist of Bright Cloud Marketing explains the differences between a good landing page and a bad one. A bad landing page is too complex and makes it unclear what the consumer is supposed to do. A good landing page allows the consumer to make the action very easily. For more information on landing pages, tune in to the WebProNews interview with Karen Crist.

Landing pages are a great way to monitor the success of your ads and marketing message. You can use them to target different demographics and measure which offer the most ROI.

We improved our landing pages (and conversion rates) by coupling our PPC campaigns to our site search http://www.CyberSiteSearch.com. The result is that every landing page is customized with products that match the query performed on Google, Yahoo, or MSN complete with “Buy Now” and “Related Items” buttons on each.

We think our landing page at http://www.getvideophone.com is good. We provide Videophone Business opportunity. The landing page calls the user to action by an automatic video. Your comments or reviews would be appreciated

My site has been up and running just 6 weeks and i have acheived
a lot on my own, we have had over 30,000 visitors already. I have
done this without the help of seo just plain old blogging everywhere
getting relevant links, free ads, forums and reading imformative articles like
like web pro news. It just takes a bit of dedication you cant wait for people to
visit you need to get out there and get them.

Being focused on realestate from a long time I consider that landing pages are good
but need to work very close with your marketing team to obtain the best results.
Web must not be very deep (in terms of accessible information) and each page of the web must
have relevant information for customers.
The best part of the interview is when she points about the need to TEST the different alternatives
just to obtain feedback and take corrective actions.

Well, you can do what you like in regards to shopping at WalMart and supporting China, but when I invented and received a US Patent on a new style Bike Rack for SUVs, Mini Vans and Cars, I not only buy all my parts in the good old USA, but here in the Valley of the Sun. Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa and Phoenix all have a part of my simple assembly. I live in Scottsdale (28 years now) and tried to find Family Owned Businesses to purchase my materials. Well, I hit a 50/50 on that goal.
I’ll be able to start selling Bike Racks On-Line in about 10 days. I can’t wait. I have just less than 100 of the racks spoken for before they are even built. I should let the East Valley Tribune know about my hometown approach; not just for press about my new company, but to possibly open eyes of others to do the same here in my community.
If you want to see my 2 minute video, just go to CarCadee.com. Have a great day

Well the landing pages are not so easy to create. Sometimes they take more brain and work than the main website itself.
If you stick with the purpose of landing pages then it would remain simple to create.
Landing pages are excellent when you ran out of options to get more traffic with less cost and effort. A well optimize landing page will not only bring more traffic to main website but also you will have opportunity to get backlinks to your main website.

Hate to sound like a jerk, but her website is terrible. She needs to practice what she preaches first.
