Steve Rubel, a senior vice president at Edelman Digital, has long been associated with blogging and social media. In this interview with Abby Johnson, he discusses how businesses can best use it to their advantage. There’s a little bit about Twitter and time management, and how the ill health of the TV ad industry has benefited digital markets, too. Watch the full interview to learn more.

I’ve never given this a try, but I think it’s about time I do.
This is a great video on what I am trying to teach my clients when I redesign their websites or work on a branding campaign with them. I feel like I want to email ALL of them a link to this video. You also make me realize that I need to increase my twittering. This video makes me wish my staff and I were at the conference… if we weren’t so busy! Thank you for making us feel like we are a part of this event.

What SteveRubel has done is completely amazing! He says that businesses can use blogging and twitter in order to drive internet traffic to their sites and generate business. This is a simple form of marketing. We like to call this strategy InternetTrafficMarketing. He and I both enjoy the internet and marketing as well as driving traffic to our sites. He takes a simple approach and does not describe many aspects of his personal life however he does enjoy blogging about his business life and if anything drastic comes about in his everyday life such as his brain tumor that he fortunately just survived. Wouldn’t we all like to have SteveRubel as a mentor? I’m not sure if Mr. Steve Rubel is providing consulting services just yet, however I do know of some great mentors sharing their vast amounts of knowledge about website promotion, email leads, trafficleader, et cetera on MentorsOnCall.com. This site provides a hot new item that has a collection of over 100 interviews with some of the best InternetTrafficMarketing professional guys on the web. Don’t forget to check it out @ http://www.MentorsOnCall.com
