We met Richard Jalichandra last year at the BlogWorld Expo 2007, just 40 days after he had been named the CEO of Technorati. One year later, we met again at the BlogWorld Expo 2008 to discuss that first year. Richard catches us up on Technorati Media and the 2008 State of the Blogosphere. Find out all these details only on WebProNews.

When you have Chris Matthews from Hardball the MSNBC Holy Cross graduate start blogging the you know its become the mainstream media. MSNBC publishes a blog Hardblogger, with occasional posts with the author Chris Matthews but considering his disdain for the Blogosphere I doubt he has ever posted himself.
This guy has a successful MSNBC left wing political program and dismisses the bloggers who don’t come from the old time established media like the Boston Globe, he even embraces the discredited Michael Barnicle who had resigned from the Boston Globe after assertions that he fabricated a story.
Matthews has no problem with unsubstantiated stories as long as it comes from one of his own. He even features a segment on his show called the sideshow where the least dribble makes it into his program. The Irish mafia was better than this when I lived in the Boston area.
I believe that the number of persons who read material from blogs is much higher than the number you cited in your video. Many Internet users may not recognize that they are reading blogs. Is the number cited just those readers who subscribe to a blog?
Are there no “real” reporters left?
Everyone wants to become a “commentator” because their outlook and opinions are SOooooooo farkin insightful they are obligated to enlighten the world.
For Matthews, every time he hears Obama speak he gets a ‘quiver’ up his leg…(too bad it’s not a quiver of arrows). He never adds anything to the global conversation only his un-insightful attitudes.
Matthews and Mahr are over-the-border OCD’s. They truely are compulsive with no self-control….both of ‘em!
