Links are invaluable in the world of online marketing whether you work solo or for a big corporation. Building links and relationships is a very time consuming process. After all that dedication, you’d naturally want to see what kind of buzz that you and your company are generating through links.
While we were in Austin for PubCon, WebProNews had the chance to speak with Ryan Russell, the CEO/Founder of Star Nine Marketing, about their new web-based link analysis tool, which can be found by visiting WhoLinkToMe.com. It started as an in-house tool and was just made available to everyone for free during PubCon and SXSW.
This tool takes backlinks and makes them easily sortable by anchor text, origination, and by the target URL. The tool is excellent for learning about the strengths and weaknesses of your linking structure. In our interview with Ryan he stated, “Whether you have ten people linking to you or 100 thousand, you can import those links into WhoLinksToMe.com, or we’ll crawl them for you.” WhoLinksToMe can segment links in any way desired. For example, it allows you to see who is linking to you through what specific phrases, or to see who is linking to what specific pages on your site.
The tool can also be very helpful when you’re trying to improve marketing efforts. According to the site, this tool helps you maintain and manage your reputation. It allows users to clearly define the most popular terms associated with their brand and also helps you “determine your biggest fans and harshest critics” through their anchor text reports.
In addition to that, WhoLinksToMe offers enhanced report capabilities. For example, if your home office is in Austin, as theirs is, but you have many other branches worldwide, this tool helps you identify and sort through the buzz that you’re creating both at home and abroad.
This tool is in beta right now and is free to everyone. Ryan shared with us in his interview above that the next release will allow users to look at competitor analysis and will have the capability to target certain keyword phrases.

Nice video.Thanks for sharing.
We have created this tool to provide our fellow citizens with a space in which they can obtain more information, and engage in an open dialogue on the vision and proposals we are presenting within the framework of Longueuil’s municipal election campaign.
