Before Bing launched, many people speculated what it would offer. Webmasters, developers, and advertisers were primarily concerned with the Toolbox. As Rajesh Srivastava of Bing tells WebProNews, there were three important principles that Bing wanted to convey with their Toolbox.

The first principle is transparency. Bing wants to be 100 percent transparent to all its users. Secondly, Bing wants to provide a richer toolset to empower users. The third important principle Bing wants to be certain that its Toolbox provides is a means to get customer feedback.

Speaking specifically in regards to the Bing API, Alessandro Catorcini says it allows users to extract data from Bing’s core engine and then use it to benefit their own tool or website. In addition, developers are allotted an unlimited number of queries.

On the webmaster side, Srivastava says Bing is most excited about the intangible features such as customer engagement. Bing wants to interact with its users to better meet their needs.

Bing vs. Google… I still think Google will win… unless the government steps in… ?

Google’s webmastertool interface is much more robust. Nice try though, Bing.

Its such as you learn my thoughts! You appear to grasp a lot approximately this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some percent to force the message house a little bit, however instead of that, this is excellent blog. An excellent read. I’ll certainly be back.
