Loading ...An all-new version of The Print Shop 2.0 has launched, and would-be users should be happy to hear that it packs brand new technology. Jennifer Smiczek, the Product Director for the Print and Productivity division of Encore Software, discussed some of the highlights while at CES.
In an interview with Abby Johnson, Smiczek explained that The Print Shop 2.0, which is made by Encore, represents the “perfect way for small businesses to create business cards, newsletters, [and] direct mail pieces.”
It’s designed for home use, too, with options for things like greeting cards and personalized calendars.
Other key points are that it’s possible to create and print projects in under five minutes with The Print Shop 2.0, and that the new software is faster, more agile, and easier to use than the previous version.
People who are interested in creating the best-looking stuff possible should also appreciate that it’s now easier to save projects and take them to professional printers.

I have been using Print Shop since it’s very first DOS version . Each time they update it gets better and better. I will definitely upgrade to this one. Going Web 2.0 should be awesome.

Just purchased PrintShop Deluxe 2.0. Unfortunately, after installing, I tried to use it and when I get to the screen where you pick a project, I get the following message,”The PrintShop 2.0 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.” I have Windows 7, and this program is supposed to support this platform. I have used Broderbund PrintShop and PrintMaster products for many, many years. I am afraid this association may be coming to an end.
I just purchased the product & was able to create 3 or 4 pages for the project I’m working on & suddenly I got the same message & I cannot open the work I have completed. Any solutions?
I too have the exact same problem, and I too have been a Broderbund fan for years.What frustrates me even more is the tech support, which is vertually none existant. You can search for an answer if you have the time, and then never find the answer. You can’t talk to anyone. They just want your money. The quality of the tech support is as important as the quality of the software., especially for loading a new program If anyone finds a solution, let me know, and I will do the same.
I purchased Print Shop 2.0 Professional. All photo (theirs and mine ) are slightly out of focus. My crystal clear photos import out of focus. Print Shop offered upgrade to 2.0.1.0. Free Download so I downloaded hoping they were going to fix their program. Now the entire program will not work with images at all.
The level of professionalism in design is very disappointing. 2.o. Now I find there is no tech help. They have even removed their tech site.
I am calling my credit card company and contesting the sale unless Broderbund gets this fixed pronto.
Not so fast! I, too have been a Printshop fan since old 6.0. I am stunned, however, that after installing 2.0 that it does not recognize/open my PS 20 files! I can’t believe a new version won’t open older version files!!!

I just purchased this program yesterday and I get the same error message! I’ve installed it over and NOTHING!!!!!
Does anybody have the answer to fix this thing??? It’s frustrating when you sit behind this computer for hours and the same thing happens. No wonder I have a MacBook….don’t have these problems with a MacBook and installing software and all the happy stuff that goes along with it!
