At CES 2010, WebProNews stopped by Miniwiz‘s booth to learn about their solar powered technology. First of all, they showed us their LED lamps, which can be screwed onto all standard 28mm plastic bottles. These lamps can be used both indoors and outdoors and provide plenty of light for reading and other activities. Pricing for these lamps start at $24.99.
Secondly, Miniwiz showed us the HYmini. This is a charging device that uses wind and solar to power internal lithium-ion batteries. It can be used for cell phones, cameras, iPods, and more and can easily attach to multiple places. This device is priced at $74.98.
Miniwize also showed us their bike holder package that was exclusively new to CES. As users pedal on their bike, they churn energy through a dynamo hub that attaches to the wheel of the bike. Energy is then transferred into a dynamo hub converter, which stabilizes it. It then can charge cell phones, cameras, and more. A price has not yet been set for this package.
