Performance marketing agency Performics recently sponsored a study from ROI Research and found that 59 percent of users believe LinkedIn is their most important social networking account. The report called “The Impact of Social Media” or “S-Net,” surveyed 2,997 active social networkers.

According to Daina Middleton, the CEO of Performics, the economic turmoil has added to the popularity of the professional network. The report also showed how social media has influenced the behavior of consumers while also creating new opportunities for them and businesses.

    Agree with the study result…

  2. I’d Agree. LinkedIn is better for b2b marketing than either Twitter or Facebook. The linking facility has much greater relevance than the follow function on Twitter.

Generally I agree that linkedin is more valuable for b2b marketing but you have to know your consumer in order to know the best way to reach them when their mind is open to your message. One consistent theme I have found in selling into the b2b markets since the recession is that decision makers are working well above 100% from an FTE productivity perspective. This qualitatively feels right when looking at macro level productivity in the US. So what? People are very busy and have little time for b2b social networking unless you have a legitimate angle, so question the ROI on social media. It is not a marketing panacea.

I also agree as Linkedin is more relevant to business marketing.
