Without the restrictions of conventional TV, and with the backing of sites like YouTube, Internet video has a clear edge and a bright future. According to Jim Louderback, the CEO of Revision3, smaller budget productions that appear online have the opportunity to become just as popular, and some even more popular, than the big network shows.

He told WebProNews that the people that think online video is simply the “big DVR in the sky” are completely wrong. He believes the online video space has created a new platform that is only going to get better with time.
