As Scott Monty, the head of social media at Ford, explained to WebProNews, Ford recognizes the power of social media and wants to “put the brand in the hands of consumers.” For this reason, the company wanted the community to be first to see their new technology.
Monty told us that this is just one example of how Ford is evolving to the world around them. He said the company is listening to what consumers are telling it and is acting upon the feedback.
