Rob Kramer, the CEO of hipswap.com, talks with WebProNews about the concept of a social mobile marketplace. As he explained to WebProNews, hipswap is similar to Craigslist but is very hyperlocal, in the sense that it goes down to the very block where a user lives.

At this point, hipswap is in private beta in L.A. and Lower Manhattan on the iOS platform, but it will launch to various other locations and on Android devices in December.
