I think this is a great example of where the real problems associated with the huge drop in rankings due to the Panda changes. Before these changes, you could slap up a blog, post content that was not even your own, rewrite it a tiny bit, and see your rankings shoot up quite fast.

What is the benefit to the user to see results in the search engine where they read one article, go to the next site, read the same content again, just reworded?

Where’s the human factor in this? Where’s the passion in this type of blogging? It’s really more about the “All about me” syndrome. Google Panda is putting the “All about your visitor” back into how you write. It’s really about both you and the visitor.

    Great video,

I believe I also got hammered by the Panda changes and have not recovered yet and I’m getting frustrated when I see dozens of really crappy sites ahead of mine. They should have never called it Panda as that is such a nice, peaceful animal. They should have called it “Tasmanian Devil” changes as I feel they were not fair in many situations.
