Popular blogger Steve Carbone, who is more commonly known as “Reality Steve,” has made quite a name for himself spoiling reality television. Despite his large fan base, the blogger was sued last December by the production company behind the Bachelor, Bachelorette, and Bachelor Pad franchise. NZK Productions claimed that Reality Steve had exchanged money for information from the show’s contestants.

After seven long months of legal trouble, both sides were able to reach a settlement earlier this month. Although he maintained his innocence throughout the ordeal, Carbone told us he decided to settle because the bills kept mounting. He believes he would have won in the end but said it didn’t make financial sense to continue pushing.

What’s more, the terms of the settlement allow him to continue doing what he loves – providing exclusive spoilers. Carbone told us that fans should expect to see the same type of content from him going forward.

He also expressed gratitude toward his fans, and particularly blogger Matt Chan, for contributing to his legal fund. He plans to pay the remainder of his fees on his own but is very thankful for the support.
