At the risk of pedantry, I wish to point out a typo. The Powerset approach is “semantic”, not “symantec”. The latter is a company.

It is interesting that this comes after Google’s buyout offer of Digg was abandoned. Perhaps that was one of the reasons that Google was interested, looking for a semantic type of search or one that they could play with.
Needless to say, I am very interested in how this buying of Powerset will affect SEO.
