Set for release date on October 15th, the newly named, simplified Current.com hopes to take interactivity to a new level.  The site dropped the TV off of the name and made some major changes to the format of the site.  Yet Gore made headlines today with something aside from Current, as he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
