Search engines display holiday logos to show their love for Valentine’s Day. However, four out of five search engines have the heart to win the viewer’s affections. Google, Yahoo, Dogpile and Ask tried to greet you with romance. Google logo maker Dennis Hwang created a luscious chocolate-dipped strawberry drizzled in the shape of a G. However, Hwang left out the L with the logo reading Googe.

Yahoo displays how chivalry still exists. Yahoo designed a man and woman placed in front of the second Yahoo ‘O’. Hearts fall like rain, and the man opens his umbrella and they move together. Dogpile shows a dog wagging his tail trying to get out of the doghouse. The comment reads, ‘Love is in the Air. Looking for a gift for that special someone? We can help!’ Ask exchanged a heart with the search button.

Designers make viewers look closer to see, Searching for love this Valentines Day… or just searching? We’re here for you… Microsoft didn’t spend any time creating a heartfelt logo.
