CES 2009: Keep Your Info Secure with Data Locker Hard Drives
Data Locker is known for supplying the world’s most secure portable hard drives. Their secure drives are designed to give you a sense of relief in the event that your data is lost or stolen. Following their motto of “storage redefined,” pureSilicon introduced a 1TB, 2.5-inch solid-state drive (SSD) called the Nitro at CES 2009. The drive tips the scale of impressiveness based on its size and capacity. The Nitro combines maximum density with high performance and low power demand.
CES 2009: Latest Innovations from Universal Remote Control
In addition to the URC Control Lighting by Lutron, Universal Remote Control featured a few other top products at CES 2009. The MX-6000 touch screen two-way remote is easy to use and takes home entertainment to a new level with WiFi networking. The device offers a narrow band 418 MHz transmitter for instant control of standard home theater components plus a WiFi transceiver for high-speed transfer of cover art, artist album, and title metadata.

CES 2009: Leave the Yard to SmartMow, the Lawn-Mowing Robot
How would you like to never mow the grass again? Good news - you don’t have to! Let the robot take care of it. SmartMow is similar to a Roomba but has blades. The lawn-mowing robot developed by RoboLabs, operates a 3-blade mulching system and weighs 17 pounds. SmartMow moves in a circular pattern within an installed perimeter wire to cut the grass.
CES 2009: Netgear Launches New Digital Media Player
Going beyond its Digital Entertainer HD media player, Netgear released its Digital Entertainer Elite media player at CES 2009. The Digital Entertainer Elite (Model EVA9150) has an integrated hard disk drive of 500 GB but is user-upgradeable to larger capacity disks. This feature alone has given the device the reputation of being the “world’s most powerful home video jukebox on the market.”
