Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman did release a statement that the classified systems were not in any danger.

The Pentagon has confirmed that computer hackers obtained access to an unclassified email system in the office of Defense Secretary Robert Gates. Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman did release a statement that the classified systems were not in any danger. It is suspected that the Chinese People’s Liberation Army is responsible for the intrusion, especially since Germany has also made accusations against the Chinese army for a computer hacking incident. The Pentagon declined to comment on the whether the Chinese army was responsible or not. Catch all the details in the full story, right here on WebProNews.
