Wouldn’t it be great to be able to transfer your data from your profile on one social network to your profile on another social network? The Data Portability Workgroup is aiming to do that very thing. WebProNews Reporter Abby Prince talked with Chris Saad, DataPorability.org’s Co-Founder and Chairman, about the initiative.

The Data Portability Workgroup contains many companies including Google, Plaxo, Facebook, and LinkedIn, just to name a few. Plaxo’s John McCrea and Joseph Smarr talked to WebProNews about their role in the recent incident involving Robert Scoble and Facebook.
