It’s that dreaded month of the year when Americans are hustling to get their taxes turned in. More and more people are turning to online filing services to handle their tax returns.
Roughly two thirds of taxpayers filed taxes online over the past three years. Seventy three million people filed their taxes online in 2006 alone.

Even the IRS offers a free online filing service; however, its site has experienced a decrease in use in the past three years, primarily because fewer and fewer people are eligible to use the service.
The tax deadline this year is only eleven days away on April 17th.
